tvONE drives video walls at advanced new UK manufacturing training centre
Posted on Thursday, May 26, 2016

ERLANGER, KY, May 26, 2016 - tvONE (www.tvone.com), leaders in video and multimedia processing equipment, today announced that CORIOmaster has been chosen to drive video walls at the new Lloyds Bank Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre (AMTC), located on the campus of the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) at Ansty Park, Coventry.

Commenting, Adam Lillystone, Head of Audio Visual Services at the MTC, said, "Our mission is to inspire Great British Manufacturing, and we operate some of the most advanced manufacturing equipment in the world. We designed our new Training Centre to fully reflect that vision, providing the stage for exciting conferences and events arranged both by us and by external partners."

On arrival, guests are greeted with a striking video wall in a scatter formation of sixteen 47" LG panels driven by a tvONE CORIOmaster C3-540. The wall can present videos, company logos, messages and real-time event information. The main lecture theatre features a 25-screen video wall comprising of LG 55" panels driven by a second CORIOmaster C3-540 for larger than life high resolution presentations or dramatic cinema screenings. The screens especially in the scatter wall are located up to 70m from the CORIOmaster units so the output is fed through C3-540 HDBaseT output cards, over CAT6 cable to 41 HD-One LX500 HDMI Video & Audio Extension Receivers.

Adam Lillystone added, "The scatter wall clearly provided the greater technical challenge, but using the tvONE CORIOmaster units it was very easy to configure correct playback across the four landscape and twelve portrait screens that make up the wall. This feature creates a real impression on everyone who visits the centre. The wall in the lecture theatre, with 25 screens in a regular 5x5 formation, was much more straightforward. We have made this impressive feature very simple for presenters to use. All they need to do is attach a laptop to the HDMI or VGA interface provided and the technology ensures that their screen is correctly presented to the audience in the room."

Alan Greenfield, Regional Sales Manager UK & Ireland at tvONE added, "tvONE manufactures in the UK and it is particularly exciting to be involved in a project that showcases British manufacturing to the world. The AMTC demonstrates perfectly how a video wall can create a huge impression, but with the right technology can be easy and straightforward to set up."
