AURORA, OH: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) announces the addition of the HDMI HDBase-T Extender with IR, RS232 and Ethernet to its popular line of HDMI extenders.

The XTENDEX® HDMI HDBase-T Extender transmits uncompressed digital HDMI, IR, RS232, and Ethernet signals up to 328 feet (100 meters) over a single CAT5e/6/7 cable using HDBase-T technology. The extender supports HDTV resolutions to 1080p and computer resolutions to 4096x2160. Users can gain full infrared remote (IR) control of the HDMI source from the remote HDTV using the existing source remote control. Each ST-C6HDE-HDBT consists of a local unit that connects to an HDMI source and a remote unit that connects to an HDMI display. The extender supports the following HDMI features: 4Kx2K resolutions (3480x2160 and 4096x2160), 48-bit Deep Color, x.v.Color, sYCC601 color, Adobe RGB color, Adobe YCC601 color, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital, DTS, 3D, bandwidth up to 3.4 GHz, Lip Sync, and support for consumer electronic control (CEC) compatible devices. The unit is HDCP compliant and supports the DDC2B protocol.

The HDMI HDBase-T Extender only requires a single power supply to power both the local and remote units and comes with integrated mounting brackets for easy surface or wall mounting. It is made of high quality, rugged steel construction with a durable powder coat finish.

Available for immediate sale, the ST-C6HDE-HDBT costs $490.
