Aurora, OH: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) today announced the addition of the Fan-Aspirated Temperature/Humidity/Dew Point Sensor to its popular line of Environment Monitoring Sensors. The sensor compensates for parasitic heating due to electrical power dissipation or exposure to solar radiation and is compatible with the ENVIROMUX® E-2D Small Enterprise Environment Monitoring System, E-5D Medium Enterprise Environment Monitoring System, and E-16D Large Enterprise Environment Monitoring System.
The E-STHS-LSH has an internal fan that consistently draws air in over the sensor, providing highly accurate temperature readings. It is ideal for installations where steep temperature gradients are common, where there is little to no air flow, or for use in freezers where there is intermittent air flow.
The Fan-Aspirated Sensor supports applications from -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C) and 0 to 90% relative humidity, and supports dew point measurement. It has a temperature accuracy of ±0.90°F (±0.5°C) for -4 to 14°F (-20 to -10°C) and ±0.72°F (±0.4°C) for 14 to 140°F (-10 to 60°C). Humidity accuracy is ±3% at 10 to 80% relative humidity and ±4% at 80 to 90% relative humidity. The sensors’ aspiration rate is 1 cfm (0.2 ft/s).
The Fan-Aspirated Temperature/Humidity Sensor interfaces with the E-2D/5D/16D Enterprise Environment Monitoring Systems via the RJ45 sensor port, and can be extended up to 1.2 miles (2km) away from the ENVIROMUX unit using the E-FSC Fiber Converter/Extender.
Available for immediate sale, the E-STHS-LSH Fan-Aspirated Temperature/Humidity/Dew Point Sensor costs $145.
