XL top rail allows users to rigidly mount the camera to the top of the MoVI Xl camera cage. Securing the the camera to the MoVI XL on both top and bottom increases the performance of the system by making sure there is no slop or compliance between the MoVI XL and the camera. Freefly's camera cage design has shown to improve quality of stabilization substantially (100%+ depending on camera package).
