GV EXPO 2015: FOR-A to Show Video Switching, Signal Processing & Video Transmission Technology Cypress, CA, December 1, 2015 – FOR-A announces that it will exhibit at this week's Government Video Expo, which takes places December 2-3 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., with partner Communications Engineering, Inc. (CEI) in Booth #301. FOR-A will be showcasing its portable video switcher, video transmission and signal processor solutions at GV Expo.

"Government continues to be an important area for FOR-A," said Jay Shinn, Vice President, FOR-A America. "GV Expo always attracts many video, broadcast, and AV professionals in the government sector, so it's a great opportunity for FOR-A to show off its products that are ideal for the government sector. We're happy to be exhibiting within the booth of our partner CEI this year at GV Expo."

At the event, FOR-A will showcase the HVS-100 portable video switcher, which boasts exceptional cost performance. The switcher includes mixed HD/SD input, frame synchronizing, re-sizing engine, 2.5D wipe effects, DVE, Chroma keyer and DSK. The HVS-100 offers a built-in Web browser for remote control and a clip memory feature in the still store to support playback of video or animations. It includes dedicated bus buttons, AUX buttons, a fader controller, and direct user buttons for various functions, and comes standard with eight HD/SD SDI inputs, four HD/SD SDI outputs and one HDMI output.

Also to be displayed is the FA-505 multi-channel signal processor – a five-input, five-output signal processor that features up/down/cross/aspect ratio conversion capability on each input. Features of the unit include a powerful synchronizer that includes frame/line/AVDL modes, video delay line of up to eight frames, full RGB color correction, and 16 channels of embedded audio per channel.

FOR-A will also be showcasing Fujitsu video transmission technology at GV Expo. Capable of operating at less than 99ms back-to-back latency, Fujitsu’s encoder/decoder technology is widely used for HD/SD content delivery in government applications. Fujitsu's solutions use H.264 MPEG-4 AVC technology encoding and features real-time transmission and robust error correction. FOR-A is the exclusive North American distributor for Fujitsu's line of video transmission solutions, including the popular IP-920 and IP-9610 real time networking solutions.
