TecVision Formulation from Draper Tackles Ambient Light

(Spiceland, Ind.) - April 24, 2017 – Draper, a leading manufacturer of projection screens and projector and flat-panel display lifts, announces the latest addition to the award-winning TecVision line of ISF-certified, 8K-ready viewing surfaces - sending ambient light scurrying for the exits.

The TecVision CH1200X ALR is a grey surface with excellent ambient light rejection properties. With an ALR rating of 20, the TecVision CH1200X ALR rejects 80 percent of the ambient lighting not being produced by the projector. Ideal for environments with high ambient lighting and controlled viewing angles, the CH1200X ALR is a high-contrast surface with excellent black retention. The higher 1.2 gain will help brighten the image in sizes up to 67 feet wide. Just like the rest of Draper’s TecVision line, CH1200X ALR is 8K-ready and Imaging Science Foundation-certified for color accuracy, so users won’t notice the blue tints present in images on many other ambient light rejecting screens. In addition, the CH1200X ALR is available as a Nanoperf surface for acoustical transparency.

TecVision surfaces offer unparalleled performance and features that set them apart from the competition. Boasting better off-axis performance than similar products, TecVision surfaces offer minimal variance in gain spec, and optimal uniformity for better ambient light performance qualities. Featuring light-absorbing dark backing to prevent picture degradation from light behind the screen, TecVision non-perforated surfaces ensure optimal image performance under the highest resolutions.

Experience the difference! See TecVision CH1200X ALR in booth 3342 at InfoComm 2017, June 14-16 in Orlando. More information on the TecVision CH1200X ALR can be found at draperinc.com/go/TecVision.htm
