AV publication honors Chief’s new mount solution as the “Best New Mount Product” at InfoComm 2011

Minneapolis, MN. USA (JUL 2011) - www.chiefmfg.com - Chief, the industry leader in AV mounting solutions, announces that its Interactive Short Throw Projector Mount is the winner of a 2011 rAVe Best of InfoComm Award.

Each year rAVe, an AV-focused news organization, honors the best new products exhibited at the InfoComm conference. Chief’s Interactive Short Throw Projector Mount was named the “Best New Mount Product” of 2011.

Released in April, the Interactive Short Throw Projector Mount transforms existing whiteboards and writing surfaces into interactive platforms. Simply install the interactive software for Mac or PC, connect a computer and any projector, and you’re ready to go. Projection can be scaled anywhere from 48"–94" diagonally, depending on the user’s needs.

The Interactive Short Throw Projector Mount is also future-proof, with universal projector compatibility and an easy upgrade path to better technology.

Part of Chief’s award-winning Short Throw Projector Mount Line, this revolutionary new solution integrates interactive eBeam™ Technology from Luidia, Inc. Users can present, annotate and interact with projected content, all while capturing the results. Includes interactive receiver and interactive stylus with exceptional, real-time rendering capabilities.

“We are very excited to receive a rAVe Best of InfoComm Award for our new Interactive Short Throw Projector Mount,” said Derek Derks, Business Development Manager for Chief. "rAVe is on the pulse of new technologies and products in the AV industry, so it is a huge honor to earn their award for ‘Best New Mount Product’ of 2011.”
