New Cameras for Broadcast On Hand At NAB 2019

Test Drive PTZ Cameras and See Streaming/Capture Capabilities

Minnetonka, Minn., USA – Vaddio will be bringing new cameras and the AV Bridge Mini solution to NAB booth C8715. Be sure to stop by for demos and discover new possibilities in the art of easy.

The star of the show will be the RoboSHOT® 40 UHD, a broadcast-quality PTZ camera with 40x zoom, genlock capabilities, smooth motor movement and superior imaging.

The RoboSHOT 40 UHD was designed with a genlock external sync port to provide accurate synchronization in multi-camera broadcast environments, plus phase compensation to fine-tune and adjust the genlock signal.

“The camera provides beautiful 4K resolution at 30fps through 30x zoom,” said Rob Viren, Vaddio Product Manager. “If you are using the camera in HD mode, you can achieve a massive 40x zoom in 1080p/60, producing gorgeous close-up shots. It simply looks great whether using the camera for television shows, sporting events, esports, weddings or meetings.”

Vaddio also recently launched the RoboSHOT Elite Series of HD-quality PTZ cameras, ideal for university lecture halls, houses of worship, government chambers, corporate meeting rooms and more. RoboSHOT Elite Series cameras use a 1/2.5 Type Exmor R CMOS image sensor to deliver native 1080p/60 video and more powerful image signal processing. This results in better light-gathering capabilities and contrast even in dim lighting conditions.

“The image sensor in our new RoboSHOT Elite cameras provides an enhanced wide dynamic range,” says Jay Kilby, Director Vaddio Product Management. “This corrects uneven lighting to give viewers more detailed images – even in settings with extreme lighting variances like church sanctuaries or outdoor live events,” said Kilby.

RoboSHOT Elite 30E cameras include IntelliZoom™ Image Processing providing a full 30x zoom without compromising image resolution quality.

Vaddio is also bringing their latest solution to encode, capture and stream content from the cameras. The AV Bridge Mini HD Audio/Video Encoder provides all the features of the Vaddio AV Bridge and AV Bridge Conference in a new compact half-rack size along with several important updates.

“The AV Bridge Mini gives integrators the ability to incorporate high-definition video and audio sources into any soft conferencing or live streaming application,” said Viren. “Enterprise users expect high-quality audio and video performance from their computers, so whether you want to record, live stream or conduct a video conference call, the AV Bridge Mini encodes your AV signals and outputs simultaneous USB 3.0 and IP streaming with 1080p quality.”

The AV Bridge Mini bridges any high definition HDMI and audio source into soft conferencing applications such as Skype, Zoom and WebEx through the standard USB 3.0 interface. With the AV Bridge Mini and its flexible RTMP capabilities, creating production-quality live streams on platforms like YouTube Live, UStream, LiveStream and Panopto has never been easier.

These solutions and more will be at booth C8715 at NAB April 8-11.
