It is the first and only system of its kind that is small, reliable and cost effective enough to be implemented in A/V presentation furniture.

The In View Electronic Lock system is a proprietary design that offers the client the ability to:

Locally lock and unlock all doors and drawers on a lectern for instance, with the turn of one key

Remotely lock and unlock all doors and drawers on a furniture piece via a network interface

Remotely monitor the security status of all Electronic Lock protected furniture on the LAN

Provide selective lock and unlock of “user-only” and “service-only” access doors

The Electronic Lock system is compatible with most A/V control systems via latching relays.The system is powered by a separate 12 VDC source with an external battery connection in the event of power failure.

The electronic lock feature is very popular with facility managers of universities and colleges where theft and vandalism is a major problem. Other institutions are finding unique applications to take advantage of the In View Furniture Electronic Lock system.
